Krista Polvere is a Melbourne, Australia artist who made the global trek to The Compound after hearing many of the records which have been produced here. Or, in her words “I met Anthony by simply emailing the studio and asking if they had some free time… all the work before arriving was done over email… I felt I could completely trust Anthony and I was right. Going with my gut proved to be such a success in every way.”
The fact that her good friend Ryan Adams lives in L.A. may have been a deciding factor regarding the around the world trip, and it played out in his visit to The Compound to do some singing and guitar playing on Krista’s song “Looking For Love”.
Marc Ford was enlisted as co-producer and guitar (naturally), with Antoine on the drums and Mark Mansour on bass. Our local keyboard king Mike Malone added B3 and piano while John Bazz jumped in on the acoustic bass for one track.
